JULY 2011

 

July sees the completion of one of our longest running projects. The £4m new visitors centre and exhibit galleries at Fort Nelson in Portsmouth. This Heritage Lottery Funded Project has taken five years to reach fruition and it a fantastic addition to the Fort, providing a cafe, visitor shop, and a new gallery for large cannon called ‘The Voice Of The Guns’. The new facility opens on July 30th.

 

 

 

JUNE 2011

 

Greenwoods celebrated our 25th anniversary in style with a well attended evening at Chandlers Grand Brasserie in Lichfield. Well over a hundred Clients, staff and industry colleagues were treated to excellent food and wine in a lovely atmosphere. Thanks to Mike at Chandlers for an excellent evening.

 

 

 

JUNE 2011

 

HADLOW TOWER, KENT - Work has begun on site on this £4m restoration of a Victorian nine storey folly in Kent. The project has been many years in coming for the Saving Hadlow Tower Action Group, and thanks to Vivat Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund this unique building will now be converted to a community space and holiday accommodation. Greenwoods are providing Project and Commercial Management and CDMC for Vivat.

 

JUNE 2011

 

Mike Harrison has joined the Greenwoods team as Associate Director, Mike is a very experienced Commercial Manager and will based in our new Cheltenham Office

 

MAY 2011

 

Dave Crump presented a cheque to The George Coller Memorial Fund for £778.00, which was raised at Greenwoods annual quiz. This years event will be held on the 10th November 2011 at Aston Wood Golf Club, Sutton Coldfield.

 

APRIL 2011

 

Congratulations to all the Greenwoods team for passing our annual QA BSI audit with flying colours - not a single non-conformaty! Well done all.
